Who is Matt Dustin?
Does any of this sound familiar?
“I’ve tried everything, and I just keep losing and gaining the same ten pounds over and over.”
That’s one of the most common issues my clients have, and trust me, I’ve been in that exact position.
In fact, that’s exactly what led me to fitness as a career. I was sick of the struggle, and I wanted to learn everything I could about fitness and nutrition.
To be honest, I just wanted to look better naked.
“I read all the fitness websites, and there’s so much information out there. I have no idea who to listen to.”
Yep, I’ve been there too. I’ve spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on fitness books and magazines.
Books that years later, I’ve completely thrown away, realizing they are absolutely terrible.
The fitness industry is confusing, and it’s not your fault if you’ve struggled to get the body you want.
My name’s Matt, and I’m here to help you learn the truth about training, nutrition, and all things fitness. My formal degree is in Exercise Science, and I have a bunch of other credentials as well, but highly qualified fitness professionals are a dime a dozen.
Here’s the difference.
I’ve worked with hundreds of clients around the world over the past six years, which has taught me a lot about how fitness works… in real life. A lot of fitness pros can’t say the same.
I do online coaching, but I still work with clients in real life, and have done so since 2011.
I’m also the author of The Everything Guide to Carb Cycling, The Everything Guide to Macronutrients, and I’ve been featured in places like LifeHacker, T-Nation, Bodybuilding.com, Sports Illustrated, AskMen, and many more.
Imagine, if you will…
- Being insanely confident in your body, and commanding the attention of the opposite sex when you enter a room.
- Knowing exactly how to train and eat to build your dream body, without giving up all the good food you love.
- Having people stop and ask you what your secret is.
I’m here to help, and teach you exactly how to build your dream body and get the results you want.
“But Matt, what qualifications do you even have?”
Ah yes. In a world of internet certifications and weekend trainers, it’s become tough to tell who to trust. Well, I began personal training in 2011, while I was still finishing my college degree. Below is a list of the various certifications I’ve obtained over the years – this does not include research journals I subscribe to, conferences I attend, or the learning that occurs every day from working with clients.
- B.S. Exercise Science, Towson University
- Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, NSCA
- Certified Personal Trainer, NASM
- Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM
- Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach
